Winter 2001: Some work was done on 'monitor' to write performence data do rrd files.
Due to licensing restrictions this work was abandoned.
The decision was taken to start fron scratch and develop rrdmon.
rrdmon will concentrate on collecting performence data offline. No online display will be available. There are other tools for online display available and we don't want to provide duplicate efforts.
